Donovan McNabb has been released by the Minnesota Vikings. The 13-year NFL veteran and 4-time Pro Bowl quarterback spent most of this season on the bench after a rocky 1-5 start. McNabb’s career has been in decline since being traded by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009 to the Washington Redskins, who then unloaded McNabb after lackluster performances this past off season. Now, McNabb might find a role with either the Chicago Bears or the Houston Texans, who have depleted their supply of quarterbacks and are still hoping to make a playoff run.

I’ve always had a thing for “Sunshine Superman”. It’s just got that 60′s feel to it. “Mellow Yellow” is another one of my favorites because it’s always been my nickname around the home. I rarely get worked up over anything… =D

Apparantly, ‘Jennifer Juniper’ was written for Jenny Boyd {sister of Patti, wife of Mick Fleetwood}, who Donovan met when he bumped into The Beatles in India.
Paul McCartney provides an uncredited vocal on ‘Happiness Runs’, in return for Donovan providing the “Sea of green” refrain on ‘Yellow Submarine’.
And, I can’t remember which song it was, but John Paul Jones was responsible for the orchestration on one of them.
