DeSean Jackson height?
Ok, he is listed from 5’8 to 6’0 tall. Which one is it. He stats listed him as 5’10 but somewhere it read that he was 5’8 tall then grew in college to 6’0? Just curious to know cause the NFL combine listed heights according to cleats.

if desean jackson and jeremy maclin mature, do u reckon the eagles hav a pretty excellent reciving core this year?
i kno d-jax is wet behind the ears, but he showed maturity this past season. he didnt drop the ball a yard away from the endzone when going in for a sure touchdown. jeremy maclin is young and has the height advantage, unlike desean but desean has speed to separate himself and break free, he still has fresh legs and has alot of potential. rarely had any rookie mistakes, except for some minor ones where he dropped the ball, but dont blame him, mcnabb threw to the ground most of the time, no disrespect to mcnabb, but nyway i reckon maclin is kinda the average reciever. he duznt separate himself as much as desean did in his rookie season. compared to desean 960 yds and 2 tds in his rookie season, maclin had 773 yards and 4 tds in his rookie season. if he improves like desean did (2009-2010 stats: 1,156 yds, 62 rec, 18.6 avg, 9 tds) do you reckon they would hav a excellent recieving core maybe sometime in the next 2 to 3 years and why?

i don’t reckon that either receiver has the ability to be a fantastic number one receiver. between the two of them, they can get the job of one number one go to guy done.

excellent WR core but idc what any one says i study coachs flim i am 36 so i know tape and i reckon them WRs well have a worse year cuz there QB many reckon hes a sleeper Kevin Kolb is not excellent enogh to be a starting NFL QB last year he threw 3 INTs VS the saints and hes overall stats where 62 for 96 3INTs 4TDs and only 741 yards passing and the youg WRs need to do better with a diff QB celek lead the team in catches with 76 and i see them 8-8
Jackson and Maclin and do they need……?
Do the Eagles need another excellent WR to help DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin? They need a 6’4″ height 220 lbs of a Receiver and a 6’4″ height 255 lbs of a runningback. This is my opinion.

They already have Cornelius Ingram, the TE rookie who got injured in the preseason. He will be more of a posession type slot receiver, than a TE, given his size and athleticism. They also already have Leonard Weaver. What they need is for the O-line to stay healthy for a string of games. It was like a merry-go-round all down the line all season. They also need to add a better pass rusher to compliment Trent Cole. And of course, as always…..RUN THE BALL, ANDY.
I reckon their WRs need a small more time to develop.
I really am not a huge believer in DeSean Jackson. I truly believe that Maclin is the best WR on the Eagles roster.
Jackson is all speed and he has terrible catching form.
DESEAN WILL NEVER BE A NO. 1 RECEIVER. How he got voted as a starter in the Pro-Bowl is ridiculous.
They need a 6’4″, 255 lb RB like they need a hole in the head. They have two excellent RBs.

Desean has already proven to be the main man in Philly, and perhaps one of the deadliest weapons in the NFL. Maclin may be the number two in this scheme but could easily be a number one on other teams. I don’t like Kolb to much but Andy Reid knows what he is doing. He is one of the best doing it right now. And for the dude who thinks the Bears are gunna whoop on the Eagles, Come on man seriously Bears are no closer to a playoff run in that division than the Detroit Lions. You guys still need a O-Line that can protect Cutler long enough to get the ball to your below average receivers. Oh and where was Forte last year? Probably busy trying to help Urlacher find his game. The only spark the Bears had was Devin Hester but you try to turn him into a Receiver and then you lose your special teams scoring and don’t gain any offense at all.
2010 Predictions:
Eagles 9-7 with a wild card berth
Bears 6-10 no playoffs no chance
The Eagles have as excellent a WR corps as there is in the league. People just said they didn’t to make excuses for McNabb.
