Human Development/Family Studies Major at UC Davis?

Human Development/Family Studies Major at UC Davis?

Hi, I’m applying for the human development/family studies major for UC Davis’s Fall 2012. And I was wondering how its curriculum is (in terms of difficulty) and if it’s impacted or not (is it hard to get in this major?).

thank you for answering my question!

Also, thank you to everyone who took time to answer my question! :)

I reckon you have a excellent chance at UC Davis. If I were you, I would try raising my GPA to at least 3.7-3.8 because nearly 65% of admitted applicants had at least a 3.75. Also, UC davis really looks at class rank and 100% of admitted applicants were in the top 10% of their class. If I were you, I would try to get up to at least 53rd. Excellent luck, and don’t stress too much about college. With those stellar SAT scores, you will certainly get in somewhere excellent.Hope this helps.
3.6 hm? you can get into UCI . UCDavis isn’t that hard to get in. just raise your GPA to 3.7 and you should be solid since your SAT score was really really excellent. yeah but because your GPA is low, you won’t get into anything higher than UCI like UCSD/UCLA/UCB. if all else fails, you can go to merced or riverside or santa cruz.
You can see the profiles of admitted students to every UC campus (detailed breakdown of GPA, SAT, ACT, and other statistics) at http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/campuses/index.html (click on the campus name, then “Freshman Admission Profile,” then “Detailed Freshman Admission Profile (PDF)” to see the stats in a chart). This will give you an thought of how competitive you should aim to be for admission to each UC campus.
