movie about men breaking out of an internment camp? The Waltons

movie about men breaking out of an internment camp?

does anyone know what this darn movie is?! I watched it in my high school English class, so it may have been based on a book, but I’m not sure. My teacher was a Vietnam vet, so he used to have us read/talk/watch a lot about the Vietnam war, so he could have just had us watch it..
It was about a group of men from a men’s internment camp who escaped through the woods.
I reckon Richard Thomas (John Boy from the Waltons) was in it. I’ve searched IMDB but I cannot find it listed in his filmography.
All i remember is that it was either very early 90s or earlier, they were prisoners either WWII in a Nazi camp, or Vietnam (although I’m pretty sure it was WWII), and I remember they had to escape through the woods at the end.
It was NOT The Fantastic Escape, Escape from Sobibor or Schindler’s List.
Thanks :)
ok, a POW camp, a concentration camp, a prison camp. You get the thought…..

Papillon?

In any case, it wouldn’t have been called an internment camp, but rather a POW camp.

“Fire In the Sky”: Who answers Travis Walton’s phone call?

Granted I’m not really paying enough attention to the movie which is being televised right now. I have seen it before, though never quite completely either because I’m always busy. So, can anyone tell me who is the man who picks up the phone when Travis Walton first calls?

I could swear it’s Robert Patrick’s character Mike Rogers, but according to a couple of internet sites, including Wikpedia, it’s supposed to be someone named Grant Neff who is married to Travis’ sister, but Neff’s character is not even credited in the film on IMDB or anywhere else.

Can someone clarify?
That’s right Misty Blue. Like I said I was hearing more than watching the movie, but it was Robert Patrick’s character who answers phone and does the driving. It is not surprising, since producers do take small cuts all the time, but would expect this from adaptation from fiction book; not from real life events. EVEN if this was a hoax like some say it was.

Odd,I could swear it was Robert Patrick too and my son, who’s a film buff reckons the same.
