Name change court tomorrow. Attire help?

Name change court tomorrow. Attire help?

I am an ftm and i’m going to court to get my name legally changed tomorrow. I know a suit would be the best thing but I really cannot afford it. I bought a tie and a nice dress shirt and that’s when I ran out of money (i saved my last two paychecks after getting fired from my job so I would have enough for court fees and clothes). So i’m stuck with the nice shirt and tie and jeans. All i have is tennis shoes, chucks, or vans so im about to head off to walmart to buy some cheap but decent “dress” shoes. Do you reckon this is acceptable attire for court? Thanks in advance.

Best answers:

A nice dress shirt and tie is fine. I wouldn’t sweat it really. If you don’t have nice shoes don’t wear the tie. If it’s all you got, well it will have to do.
The shirt and tie is excellent. The jeans are questionable. Walmart usually has some inexpensive men’s pants that aren’t jeans. Judges are very particular, and most insist on proper attire in their courtrooms.
OK…this always depends on the judge…some are ancient fashioned and finicky…some could care less. But if you’re gonna spring for anything from the store, it should be new pants, rather than shoes. I once worked for the state and there was a judge who would literally refuse to hear any cases from people if they were dressed in jeans.

But the last time I had to go to court, these folks were scummy (I mean yucky…didn’t even try to look decent) and the judge didn’t care.

Excellent luck in court!

Perhaps you have a male friend you could borrow a pair of slacks from?

HELP got kicked out of Walmart?

Hello, I am a 42 year ancient man and I am rather discomfited to question this question honestly. So please bare with me and know that this is a serious matter and would appreciate only serious answers.

I should start by saying I have a past of enjoying dressing up in women’s clothes from time to time as I find it very gratifying and exciting. I have done this in my own time or very discreetly so it has never been a problem, irregularly I will wear a bra under my shirt or lace panties under normal mens clothes.
Well the other day I was shopping at Walmart and an urge came over me to browse the women’s clothing section, so I did just that. I picked out several pares of panties and bras and approached the checkout isle and bought them. But I couldn’t wait until I got home to try them on, I had to turn around and go into the bathroom and try them on, So I walked into the mens bathroom with my arms full of bras and panties and locked myself in the stall where I changed into a pare of panties as quick as I could.
That’s when the manager with security walked into the bathroom and told me to get out, They forcefully removed me from the bathroom without letting me place my shirt back on so I was being escorted through the entire store in front of everybody with no shirt on wearing a bra. Apparently they had already contacted the police because they were waiting outside and I was arrested for “indecent exposure” and “disorderly conduct”. At that point I tried to run from them while handcuffed (terrible choice I know) but I was tazed and then maced while on the ground in front of everyone while still wearing a bra with no shirt. Everyone started laughing, it was the most mortifying experience of my life.

I do not know what I did that would warrent any of this? I feel I am being discriminated against unfairly and should contact the ACLU.
I have tried several times to appeal to the court systems for injustice but they will not hear my case, Am I a victim of discrimination?

You got kicked out of Walmart? Sounds to me like you’ve already been helped.
I reckon you made the whole thing up,post the police report and i might believe you.
LMAO I remember that.. I was one standing there laughing at you… most amusing thing I’ve ever seen.

And I’d reckon a 42 year ancient man knows the difference between pairs, pears and pares!

And you said you rushed in and changed into a pair of panties as quick as you could… but when you were pulled from the stall you claim to be only shirtless wearing a bra..

I never heard of anyone getting kicked out of Walmart. They always say, “welcome to Walmart.”
I do not shop there. Maybe they thought you stole the stuff.

i don’t know what legal right they had to kick you out, but you have to take control of your fetishes. There’s no reason you couldn’t wait to get home, or at least your car. But let me question you, how did they get you outta the stall if it was locked? Wouldn’t you get dressed before you allowed them in the stall? I dunno if i completely believe this tale cuz it’s waaaay out there, but like i said take control, and be apt.
