NEW YORK GIANTS 2011 PREDICTIONS? Desean Jackson 2011

NEW YORK GIANTS 2011 PREDICTIONS?

a punt to desean jackson cost them the playoffs but i reckon they are a complete young team with experience and the last tiime tom coughlin was on the hotseat they won the superbowl. plz be honest ex. if ur another retarded eagle fan dont say that giants are gonna go 0-16 when u know the giants will kick the eagles assssss

Best answers:

7-9
8-8
im not an eagles fan but i reckon theyre a better team than the giants. they could lose ahmad bradshaw and steve smith, and eli manning was variable last season and their defense isnt nearly as excellent as it was when they won the sb. that being said, there are worse teams, but there are better ones too
They probley would of be 8-8 going to miss the playoff again.
That depends on whether or not they are able to keep Ahmad Bradshaw, Steve Smith and a few other notable key free agents and whether they can add some people as well. They will still be a pretty excellent team again this year regardless but the Eagles and even Cowboys believe it or not are in slightly better positions right now. Anything can happen though. I’ll go out on a limb and say they go 10-6 again perhaps and maybe make the playoffs as a wild card team. They are a scary team to play come playoff time.

Can you rank my fantasy football team for 2011?

Starting:
QB- Matt Stafford
RB- Adrian Peterson
RB- Ryan Matthews
WR- DeSean Jackson
WR- Johnny Knox
WR- Mario Manningham
TE- Rob Gronkowski

Bench:
QB- Kevin Kolb
QB- Mark Sanchez
RB- James Starks (want to drop him)
WR- Julio Jones
WR- Hines Ward
TE- Jermaine Gresham

Kicker: Adam Vinatieri

DEF- Baltimore Ravens

I drafter QB to low so I didn’t get the greatest but Matt Stafford is expected to have a fantastic fantasy season if he is healthy and I took a chance on Kevin Kolb and hoping that he can go into the team he is traded to and produce excellent numbers (Arizona Cards with Larry Fitz)…and I won’t start Sancheesy because I’m a Patriots fan…Also, I have a lot of hope for Julio Jones with Matt Ryan throwing him the ball. Sure, Roddy White is part of the mix but Julio Jones I can see racking up about 800 yds. I want to drop Hines Ward but I don’t know for who. James Starks I want to drop as well because I already have two talented RBs…I would place Gresham in but the Bengals have some QB sitch right now…
I just dropped Hines Ward for Steve Smith because he is projected to rack up about 950 yds this coming season

I don’t know how huge the league is, so I have no way to rate it. Hopefully it’s a large league for your sake.

I can see you took Peterson at the top of the 1st round, but I can’t tell who was your top pick in Round 3. I assume Jackson was at the end of round 2… but I don’t see anyone worthy of a pick at the top of the 3rd round. Maybe you took Matthews? But then who was in round 4/5? Knox/Manningham/Gronkowski aren’t worth picking that high.

No problem waiting on a QB, but people who wait on QB’s should have a lot better WR/RB combos than that. And if you are never using Sanchez, then why did you pick him?

You want to drop Starks because you have 2 talented runners? Mathews hasn’t done anything yet, and you really don’t expect to have any RB’s on your bench? Mathews hasn’t shown he can stay healthy, and even if he does there are at least 2 bye weeks to cover, aren’t there?

In conclusion, looks weak, but I can’t tell how weak without knowing the size of the league.

if your a pats fan and play with your heart and wont play sanchessy then trade his ass…surely you can get something for him, you dont need 3 qb’s…you shoulda dropped knox not ward, i dont like ward as a player but he is excellent for 6-7 td’s and at least your 950 yards smith will give you…..and what smith is it….i am assuming carolina cuz your not going to have 2 giants players so i doubt steve smith gets 950….who is even throwing him the balll…..dont play the season by projections son, they are never right…….your team is solid otherwise though just need some wideout help…so keep an eye out where people sign and all that….best of luck on the season

Who are your Top 10 players being left out of the Top 100 of 2011?

1.London Fletcher – 100 + tackles every year of his career when he started..1 pro bowl..wow..
2.Anquan Boldin – catches 80 balls a year and is tough as a rock hes a silent WR my fave.
3.Eli Manning – Super Bowl Champ…what the heck. Not a NYG fan but he deserves it…
4.Matt Schaub – 4000 yds passing daily and 30 TDs..
5.LeSean McCoy – Still 1000 yds running and Reid passes 80% of the game. And caught 78 balls.
6.Tramon Williams – The rising star and the NFL’s fan favorite.
7.Charles Johnson – 11.5 sacks this past season on a terrible Carolina Defense ‘nough said.
8.Jermichael Finley – Injuries kept him out and GB still won the Super Bowl, they’ll only get better.
9.Sidney Rice – He will be fantastic again when he signs with San Diego.
10.Mike Wallace – He will be the Steelers #1 very soon, the slower version of Desean Jackson.

I agree with a lot of your list except Jermichael Finley and Sidney Rice. (I’m a Packer fan so there’s no bias). This was a top 100 list based off the 2010 season. And unfortunately Finley and Rice were injured for pretty much that whole season so even though they were fantastic in 09 this year it all amounts to none. This is also why I reckon Romo even in the top 100 and then all the way up at #72 was bullcrap. And Donovan McNabb making the list, what do you say, that’s just terrible.

Josh Sitton is probably the most underrate offensive linemen in the league. I still can’t believe he hasn’t made a Pro Bowl yet. Of course even though he is a top 3 player at his position, I can’t imagine more than one guard making the list so I was fine with him being excluded.

I’m torn up most of all Tramon Williams and Matt Schaub weren’t on the list. All the other snubs there was at least some logic in (even LeSean McCoy), but Schaub is a top 10 QB and Williams a top 5 CB. Schaub has over 9000 yards the past two seasons and Williams was utterly insane all season especially coming up huge in the playoffs. This top 100 list is dreadful. Any list that can place 14 receivers ahead of Greg Jennings is absolutely stupid. I can’t even name 6 I could even consider putting ahead of Jennings, personally I place Jennings #4.

2.Anquan Boldin – catches 80 balls a year and is tough as a rock hes a silent WR my fave.
I agree,Im a Baltimore Ravens fan and this guy deserve being in the top 100,more than some WR.Like Brandon Marshall,The show is call Top 100 of 2011!!!He didnt even play this season,Yea he had 3 years of 100 catches at Denver but he didnt play for denver last season he play for Miami
1. Kevin Williams
2. Eli Manning
3. Steve Hutchinson
4. Matt Schaub
5. Tramon Williams
6. Jermichael Finley
7. Chad Greenway
8. LeSean McCoy
9. Anquan Boldin
10. Chad Ochocinco
Only 1 for me: Terrell Suggs, he was basically a one man wrecking crew for the ravens pass rush and still had like 12 sacks, plus he had his largest games IN the largest games, he had 7 sacks against PIT, 3 in the playoffs game. Plus he can cover and play the run, most versatile OLB in football.

    New York Giants 2011 Season:
    - Record: 10-6
    - Place: 3rd in NFC East
    - Seed: n/a

    13-3
they got a mad simple schduele and i agree with everything u said. they are ready to breakout this season. there division is a piece of cake because denfenses have figure vick out and he wont play all 16 games plus cowboys and redskin just suck lmao. eli did throw a ton of picks but those will go down, they have the best d-line in football and there pass rush is deadly. they are head and shoulders above everyone in theat division but all they need is to end that 6 game losing streak to the eagles than there confidence would explode. i reckon they are superbowl contenders and giants fans have alot to look foward too

  3. Steve says:

giants will kick the eagles ass. id say 10-6 or 11-5

  4. Javier Rivera says:

    Eagles-10-6
    Giants-8-8
    Cowboys-6-10
    Redskins-4-12

I despise eagle fans and am a raiders fan. dude, Eli is VERY variable and they got no D, plus there are potential FA’s leaving NY…

  5. Qberry Jones says:

im an eagles fan but if u want my 100% unbiased opinion i would say…10-6 2nd in the nfc east behind the 12-4 eagles, i know u reckon im just saying that because im an eagles fan but im not, the giants could lose bradshaw and smith while the eagles will probably trade kolb 4 rodgers-cromartie, and i reckon they could pick up haynesworth.

  6. Victor says:

You’re one to be calling Eagles fans retarded remember this not too long ago???

Not exactly a fantastic answer huh??

But I’ll answer your question seriously. I reckon the Giants will have a 11-5, 10-6 record in 2011-2012. They have a fantastic defense with Justin Tuck, a top 5 DE in the NFL, Osi Umeniyora who had a fantastic season last year with 11 sacks and 10 FFs as well as Barry Coefiels who had 8 sacks last year and was disruptive at DT last year. They may need help at LB as usual but that doesn’t really ever seems to stop them. At secondary they have the always underrated Corey Webster who’s consistent and never really gets burned a lot. Terrell Thomas who was their INT leader and consistent as well. They have Antrell Rolle at FS who I reckon relies too much on his athleticism and can be variable at times but is still a solid safety overall but not what most make him out to be. Kenny Phillips at SS who’s very excellent overall and is excellent at both coverage and run support. On offense there’s obviously their strong WR corps with Hakeem Nicks (who’s a future star WR in the NFL if not already), Mario Manningham, and Steve Smith and promising Victor Cruz. A top NFL offensive line despite their aging and Brandon Jacobs who’s not what he used to be but still better than a lot of other RBs in the league and if they resign Bradshaw a fluid and excellent RB, but he does have fumbling issues. Eli Manning who I reckon is underrated since everyone undermines his achievements and compares him to his brother. The only thing that could kill them next season is if they don’t fix their turnover problem or collapses against the Eagles, but if they do they’ll be perilous. They could be division winners or wildcards depending on how their games against the Eagles go.
