Q&A: NBA 2k11 association mode, trade Manu Ginobli for Eric Gordon?

NBA 2k11 friendship mode, trade Manu Ginobli for Eric Gordon?

Hey guys this is my team:
PG: a fake guy who plays like d-rose
SG: Manu Ginobli
SF: Lebron James
PF: Kevin Like
C: Marc Gausol
Bench: Wesley Johnson
Zyundras Ilgauskas
Tony Allen
Tyler Hansborough
Beno Udrih
Steve Blake
James Johnson
everyone else sucks
Manu is 34 years ancient and 89 overall, should i trade him and 7’1 Zyundras for 2 year ancient sg eric gordon, 86 overall, and a terrible SF? Its my second year and my previous team had 70 wins, but they also had serge ibaka, who i traded for wesley johnson and steve blake. I have a lottery draft pick for the current year as well, so i could always draft a SG, or if i trade, a C. So should i trade manu for gordon? and rate my team
*22 year ancient eric gordon sorry

They now offered me gordon Jordan hill crapp SF and a first round pick for :Zyundras, manu, 2nd round pick, and hansborough. hills stats are about the same as hansborough hes a year younger, and an inch taller, but the SF sucks.
thanks everyone i finished up trading Manu Ginobli, Zyundras, Hansborough, and a 2nd round pick for Eric Gordon, crappy Sf, Hasheem thabeet, a 7’3 24 year ancient monster at C, and a first round pick

Best answers:

your team is like an unrealistic dream team that can only be achieved through a video game.
yeah you should trade manu for gordon.
No Ginobli’s a boss, your team is beast, and Hansborough is a MONSTER!!
I would go for it. Ginobli is aging and so is Ilgauskas. Gordon is still young and has lots of potential. But you might want to question for an extra draft pick or two. JMO
.
You should trade Manu Ginobili because he’s 34 years ancient but you can always change his age and Eric Gordon is a beast but trade Huge Z for a terrible player is with the trade is really terrible so no do not trade because the cpu mainly nearly makes the worst trades ever.

whats the best finishing go in nba history?pick ur choice and tell y?

1.jordans fadeaway
2.kareems skyhook
3.tim duncan off the glass
4.kobes fadeaway
5.allen iverson cross and layup
6.tony parker floater
7.steve nash side step fade away
8.magic johnson baby hook
9.the “DREAM” or hakeems 1 2 fake and lay in

Best answers:

timmie off the glass. that’s the first i saw in the tv along with kobe and nash, but i’ll take timmie.
damn! tough question..hmm its gonna between:

jordan’s fadeway vs the hakeem’s dream shakes!

ithink its kareem’s sky hook.
Kareem’s skyhook is the most unstoppable go in NBA history.

The Hakeem “Dream Shake” was probably my favorite to watch.

Anyone who hasn’t seen all these guys play shouldn’t vote, imo.

  2. Area 55 says:

Yes, they are close with overalls and Gordon is like 12 years younger.. I just dislike Gordon because he is small, but he has a shot.

Your team sucks I despise to play like that it’s no fun…

  3. Rebirth says:

Jordan and Kobe;s fadeaway, the Dream Shake, Skyhook and another thing that you forgot, the Black Hurricane by Shaq (it’s a spin post-up go used by Shaq that is usually followed by a dunk).

  4. ryanhew says:

single moment – john starks dunk!!!!! anyone else remember that??

all time. tim duncans off the glass. he does it so easily. looks dull but so effective.

  5. dude_27 says:

    1.duncan off the glass.
    2. the dream’s million fakes.

both style very basic and essential yet effective.

  6. Mean Street Posse (E C DUB) says:

Magics turn hook shot shot over Parish, mchale and bird.
In the finals is Number one in my book, then jordans fade away which became a new base for guards.
Gilbert arenas hits the threes better then kobe I rekon.

  7. Flight #23 says:

how bout LeBron muscling his way to the rim and exploding for a dunk!

but, out of your 9 options i’m either going with Iverson cause you can jump and holla when he breaks his opponants ankles or Parkers floater cause it’s sheer class.

  8. T-S77 says:

Between those ones I like :
    - Kareem’s Skyhook: Most efficient.
    - Dream shake by Hakeem: Most fun to watch.

But I also like the “Finger roll” by George Gervin

  9. Diamondbull says:

This question is simple like someone has already mentioned the Kareem Skyhook is the most unstoppable go in all of basketball and you can question any of the greats and they will tell you the same thing; Jordan, Barkley, Magic, Bird, Parish, Mchale, Hakeem, Shaq, etc. For any center that can master the skyhook the shot becomes ‘impossible’ to block but yet high percentage.

The second most unstoppable go would have to be Tim Duncan’s shot off the glass because again it becomes improbable to block because of the high release point and the only limitation is the glass can sometimes need to be adjusted to. All Tim needs is to catch the ball in the high or low post.

Third would be Jordan’s fadeaway as once again the release point makes it improbable to block and Jordan’s mid range jump shot was probably the best the NBA has seen making the shot high percentage. This was even more unstoppable because Jordan could both catch the ball in the post OR dribble the ball up and post you himself.

  10. Jay says:

Jordan fades. It’s been replayed so much that i have been brainwashed into believing the hype.

  11. matt says:

    no. 4

  12. jb_luna04 says:

Kareem’s skyhook specially when he was about in his prime he was unstoppable, he used that go to become the all-time leading scorer in NBA History

  13. Cheese Bob says:

Skyhook and Jordan’s fadeaways. The classic players make the best finishers.

  14. MenifeeManiac says:

    10. Julius Irving’s NBA (transferred from the ABA) slam dunk.
    11. James Worthy slam
    12. The “Coop-a-Loop.”
    13. Daryll Dawken’s “Thunder from Down Under” shattering of a backboard after a monstrous dunk.

  15. wowie_chi says:

THE DREAM, DURING THE 95 FINALS THEY WERE THE UNDERDOG, THE ADMIRAL WAS THE MVP. HE USED THE DREAM SHAKE IN EVERY GAME, HE EVEN HUMILIATED THE MVP IN THE 1ST GAME OF THEIR SERIES. REALLY EMBARRASSING. THEY EVENTUALLY WON THE CHIP.

YOU MISSED OUT. THE GREATEST MOVE OF ALL TIME. THE BALL CRADLE OF JULIUS ERVING VS THE LAKERS. HE DID THAT WITH A DEFENDER

  16. Adam C says:

kobes fade away! as the game clock hits 3 Fade…2 shoot…1…Swoosh! lol

  17. qb says:

Nos 1&2 wout a doubt the 2 most unstoppable shots in the nba. duncan’s banker isn’t terrible either. kobe’s ‘fadeaway’ is just a rip off of mj and shows how much he owes to the master. anyway, nice list.

  18. NMQ122289 says:

    Hi,

I want to be biased and choose Kobe Bryant’s gorgeous fade-away. But, Hakeem’s ‘dream shake’ is certainly the best finishing go. But in terms of best finishing go, I really reckon its Kobe’s. I mean, his fade-away shot is certainly a ‘dagger’ that killed opponents. He has a lot of game-winner that struck through the opposite bench not to mention the fans. It certainly is a heart-pulsating finishing go.
