Record Predictions for teams in 2011-2012 NBA season? Nba Lockout News 2012

Record Predictions for teams in 2011-2012 NBA season?

It looks like the NBA lockout is pretty close to being over (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AkO.W3Gd_tBiptGivCcHLSK8vLYF?slug=aw-wojnarowski_nba_labor_talks_102711) and that an 82 game season can still be salvaged.
I’m a pretty avid NBA fan and not really biased, so what do you reckon of these predictions?
(Obviously not including free agents or trades due to lockout)

I see a lot of young teams improving and older teams slowing down, tell me what you reckon.
@Streetballer3- Well, the Lakers haven’t really gotten better, unless you reckon Morris can make a huge difference, and they are ancient. The Spurs havent got much better either and they’re older than the Lakers. Leonard can take over for Jefferson as starter (which is why I place him as ROY), but they wont win over 60 games again.

Best answers:

Spurs and Lakers = BIG YEAR
Yay hopefully Toronto gets 1st pick.
yay, maybe the suns can do terrible and get a lottery pick who can be the face of the franchise
Nice list… but theres Probly not gonna be 82 games this season

Pretty accurate for the most part.

The only one I’d change is Denver. They’ll be without Kenyon Martin, Wilson Chandler, and JR Smith since they all went to China. I reckon they’ll be winning closer to 30 games.

MVP usually goes to the best player on the best team. I’d say Lebron gets the MVP. I reckon Dallas is a 60 win team. They should’ve been 64-65ish last year but they were 0-9 in a 9 game stretch where Dirk was hurt. Miami had a lot of terrible luck mostly due to the awkward pressure from the scrutiny they received. Most people really picked the mavericks as the underdogs even though they were the best team in the NBA. They just flew under Everybody’s radar. I predicted them making the finals but I never thought they would win. The eyes are going to trail off Miami a small bit and we’re going to witness a dynasty. I say heat 68 wins mavericks 62 wins Bulls 59 (Boozer getting ancient.) Thunder or Mavericks make it out of the west. Heat repeat as ECC. maybe 6 of those in a row.
