What is the best age to buy a puppy at?

What is the best age to buy a puppy at?

I was going to buy this Shih Tzu Boston Terrier mix but not until mid June and it says they are already 8 weeks ancient. Would it be OK to buy it then?? And what do you reckon is the best age to get a puppy at? (I mean the age of the puppy, not the person!)

Best answers:

Eight weeks is the very earliest age to be getting a puppy. But puppies are still learning at that age. Ten-twelve weeks is probably the best time to get a puppy.
From a reputable breeder, you buy it before it’s even born. You close the deal when the puppy is 8 to 12 weeks of age.
i thin 8 weeks is the earliest to get a puppy. 12 weeks is better. The longer the pup stays with the mother the more the mother can teach it.
Anytime after 8 weeks is excellent. It will not hurt anything to wait a few more weeks. Really it will be excellent for your dog to stay with the “pack” a small longer. They are learing a lot from the littermates and mother. It will be simpler to house train then too…

What is the best age to buy investment linked insurance?

I’ve been told to buy insurance by parents and I’m 24. Should I go ahead? I’m not sick before and I’d never been hospitalized. I’m just all-excellent at this moment.
It’s life-insurance with investment linked.

Best answers:

I would buy a policy like the one you just described with level cost of insurance (its an option on the policy) as life insurance will never be cheaper for you to buy than it is right now and eventually you will need it. (if you don’t already- if you are married or have kids)
Buy $ 200,000 with anoption to buy more in the future built in as a rider. “overfund” the plot a small bit as well. ie. If premium is $ 50 per month, place in $ 75 per month. Make sure the investment selection is pure equity to maximize your tax sheltered growth.

IMPORTANT: if you have ANY intention of pillaging this policy for quick cash in the future (to buy a house, huge screen tv) or your spending habits are terrible, DO NOT buiy this plot, it would be a total waste. In that case, just buy term insurance.

hi iam vijay ur age is is the right age to invest in the linked insurance if u want any more in rank mail me vijaysasi18@yahoo.com
You are looking for a cash value type policy. It is a better thought to separate them. You can get a better rate of return on your investment, and if you die before a term policy is up, your benefices get both. You also get more freedom to choose where the money goes and don’t have to borrow the money.

Very few cash value policies allow that unless you pay more per month.

8 weeks is the minimum age which you can take the puppy home. It’s ok to take it home a few weeks later… say 10-12 weeks, but any later and it may be hard to right any temperament issues since it has become a habit.

as soon as you are able to take it from the mom, you want to start the bonding process early, it makes for a better link between you and the puppy :)

I reckon it would be ok to buy it then if you wanted to… but it would be a pretty excellent thought to wait just a few more weeks. Not too long, though, because you want to get the puppy accustomed to your house, family, etc. We got our puppy when she was a small younger, but she was certainly ok and quickly got used to her new home.

Depend on who you talk to about this.

There is nothing incorrect with getting a pup at 8 weeks. Any early and it could be missing out on vital learning.

Some breeder choose to wait until 12 weeks. This is b/c this is what they feel is the best time for the pups to leave the litter. Some breeders also use these extra weeks to do basic house training and other training.
