What would be the best attire for an Andrea Bocelli Concert?

I have booked my ticket to see one of the greatest opera singers in the World in November and as this is going to be such a glamorous event I want to look the part.

The three hour show itself will be held at Londons 02arena and even though from what I can tell the dress code will be pretty relaxed I do want to look my very best.

On a normal occasion I wear trainers, jeans and my trusty leather jacket:

But I am thinking of buying a nice suit, shirt, tie, some comfortable dress shoes and wearing a fit to be seen coat, my ticket cost me well over a £100 so I want to push the boat out as it were so I look the part.

I am just asking this question to get some feedback from others who have attended Operatic events and wish to not wear usual casual attire.

To be honest its about keeping up apperances etc, obviously if it was a metallica concert then I would grow my hair long, wear a faded tshirt etc etc and not worry about wearing my leather jacket but heavy metal or whatever metallica is is a teency weency bit different to Opera :D

I like the thought of the nice suit, tie, etc. You might want to see if you can find something apt at a thrift store (I reckon that you have referred to them as “charity stores”). You can find all kinds of stuff there. I’ve seen simply gorgeous bridal gowns there. In fact, my mom bought some normally pricey Seven jeans a the Goodwill store where she lives for $ 5. I am so pleased for you that you are going to see someone you like so much : )

I just answered my umpteenth question on this. So when will people stop asking–when hell freezes over or when pigs glide?

Well I questioned it you answered..it’s OK now… I haven’t questioned any other questions about her..
You need to check the Weather Channel before you answer – to see if HELL has frozen over! We get the same question over and over from a zillion people – and then we get them same questions over and over form the SAME person. Then we get the students who are grossly under-educated and under-prepared, and question us *experts* about things WAAAAAY over their head – and when we tell them the truth, they either get nasty and insulting, or the BLOCK us – which meas we do not get to SEE their vituperation ( unless we do it back-door – always fascinating.) I have had idiots block me, insult me, and then other people on YA vote me as BA. Cute, huh?
